#1 Way To Get More Leads – FAST

Think about the last thing that you signed up for, what was it?

Was it a free report?

Was it a free piece of software?

Or was it a free event, like a webinar?

Because if you’re like most people, you have two different emails.

You have your personal email address, and you have a “throwaway” or “spam” email address.

The throwaway email is the one you use (that you never check) when you sign up for somebody’s lead magnet, especially a free one.

But when you sign up for an event like a webinar, you’re much more likely to use your real email. Why? Because you know, that’s the only way you’re going to get the login details you need to log into the event.

Now, about 3-5% of the people who sign up for a webinar will immediately unsubscribe once they get the link, which is fine. But, for the most part, when you offer an event, you will get higher quality leads with a majority of real email addresses.

Bottom line: if you want to get more leads, start doing more events.

Events are by far the best way to get people’s best email address because they know that an event has a specific login link with a date and time of where and when they need to show up.

They know they must give you an email address they actually check so they can get the link to the live event and also get notified about the replay.

Side note: the absolute best way to get leads is to sell something rather than give something away for free. But that’s a story for another day.

If you want more leads – more consistently – start doing events.

Now the problem is when most people think of an event, they think of having to do a webinar. And when they think of having to do a webinar, they break out into a cold sweat because they think of all those slides they have to put together.

They have nightmares over the huge amount of prep that goes into creating a webinar. Putting together the text… and the graphics… and the slide deck… and the timing… and it starts to become very overwhelming, especially if you are going to sell something during the event!

Can you say 50 slide stack close!?

Now don’t get me wrong. Webinars have made me millions of dollars over the years, and I’m a HUGE fan of webinars. But I also know webinars can take a while to put together, no matter what tools you have at your disposal.

What if there was a better way?

A faster way, an easier way to test your ideas and see if people are interested in signing up or getting a result…

A better way than spending days or weeks putting together a webinar…

What if you could do it in an hour, be just as effective, and have a whole lot more fun?

Would that be a better way of getting leads?

Well, I don’t think it would be a better way of getting leads… I know it would be a better way of getting leads AND making sales! Especially for people who are just getting started or don’t have time to put together a webinar.
