There’s Plenty Of Time For Everything BUT THIS!

There is plenty of time to do anything you need to do, EXCEPT… this!

Here’s the thing.

I have many deadlines right now.

Truth be told, I was a little freaked out last night about all of it.

  • I’m creating new scripts;
  • I’m teaching copywriting;
  • I’m editing a new book;
  • I’m working with partners;
  • I’ve got my business to run;
  • I’m going to FHL next week;

I admit I felt a little overwhelmed right before I went to sleep!

Then, a little voice said to me:

Look at your calendar. There’s plenty of time for everything except wasting time!

We All Have The Same 24 Hours.

We all have the same 60 minutes in an hour.

We all sleep somewhere between seven and eight hours a night.

Don’t let your work expand to fill the time allotted (BIG mistake).

Instead, contract the time and force the work to fit in the time you decide is enough.

Time is the one resource that is the EXACT same for everyone.

Don’t waste it!

Plan Your Work And Work Your Plan!

It might seem a quaint phrase, but it’s TRUE.

The main reason you are wasting time is that you haven’t planned out what you’re going to do.

And even if you have planned it all out…

You’re probably not FOLLOWING your plan as well as you could.

Write down the actions, put a deadline on each one, and then execute.

When you put time and effort into what you’re going to do, you execute and get it done faster and more efficiently.

You ACTUALLY get it done.

Conclusion

Sometimes it feels like you don’t have enough time… it happens to everyone.

But I’d wager that you just haven’t planned properly, so you waste time in unproductive ways.

We all have a choice every day…

Let your work expand to fill the allotted time, or…

Force your work to fit into the time block you say it will.

Instead of taking two hours fumbling to get something done, take 15 minutes to plan out how you will get it done, and then execute for 45 minutes.

Using this method, you’ll finish the new way before you would have even gotten started the old way.
