Change is coming – and let’s be real, sometimes it feels like a giant dumpster fire spiraling out of control.
It’s a word that doesn’t sit well with a lot of people, especially once we’re finally comfortable. That’s one of the mistake we make… we get comfortable.
I want to share a conversation I had with a client just the other day. He asked me a question that made me stop and think about why I’ve been successful for over 25 years in the online world.
What’s my secret? It’s simple: I’ve adapted to change.
While some people are waiting for things to change back to the way that things used to be, I’ve been changing with the times.
Things online continue to change faster each year. Like Elbert Hubbard said, “The world is moving so fast these days that the man who says it can’t be done is generally interrupted by someone doing it.” In my opinion, those who don’t take action or adapt quickly get left behind.
That’s why learning the principles is so important.
Principles like copywriting will never change. You need to catch people’s attention, grab their interests, and persuade them to take action. That’s always going to be the way it is.
However, how we apply those principles HAS changed, and it will keep changing.
Think about it. Once we used html pages, then it was WordPress, and now it’s video sales letters, social media and sales funnels.
To move forward into the future successfully, we need to adapt to change and apply principles consistently.
The biggest mistake that you can make in online business is waiting for things to change back.
Trust me, they’re never, EVER going to change back.
To succeed, you need to learn how to adapt. We need to constantly roll with the changes while applying the principles we learn along the way.
Take those principles and pivot like a boss, embrace the chaos, and laugh in the face of uncertainty. You’ve got this!
It can also mean opening your mind to new tools that you never thought you’d use or rely on. For me, that tool has been Artificial Intelligence. When I recognized the power and usefulness of AI, I knew I had to lean into it. That’s why we launched CopyandContent.AI.
If you want to take your copy and content to the next level, fast, then check out CopyandContent.AI to see what all the fuss is about. Stick to proven principles, but adapt to the changes.
Do that, and you’ll be just fine!
